Privacy & NDPR notice

What we collect

• Account: name, email, phone number.
• Booking: the address of your garden space, the time you pick, the tier you book.
• Renders: photos you upload and the private working concepts generated from them. They are available only to you, your assigned gardener and authorised administrators. If you explicitly publish a vision, we create a separate branded public sharing copy; discarded and unselected candidates are not published.
• Payments: handled by Paystack — we store the reference and status, never your card.
• Site performance: cookie-free, anonymous page and Web Vitals measurements from Vercel.

Why we use it

To book Amara, send you session reminders by SMS, email and in-app notice, share your address with Amara so she can reach you, pay her, protect against fraud, and keep the site reliable on Nigerian mobile connections. We do not sell your data or build advertising profiles.

Where it lives

Servers located outside Nigeria may process your data on our behalf (database, hosting and performance analytics, email, SMS, payments). Each processor is engaged under NDPR-compliant terms. We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, plus the time the law requires.

Your rights under NDPR

• Ask what data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is wrong.
• Request deletion of data we no longer need.
• Withdraw consent for reminders at any time.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights collect anonymous aggregate usage and performance data without analytics cookies. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The notice you saw lets you acknowledge this.

Children

SetupMyGarden is not for anyone under 18. If you believe a minor registered, contact us and we will delete the account.
